 Dear Friends, Family, and Fellow Concerned Citizens, In these trying economic times, it is critical that our elected officials be invested in and have a passion for the people and communities they represent. My family is deeply rooted here and, like you, our family is dependent on the success of the people and industry of the 35th District. As a lifelong resident of Lincoln County and business owner, it was shocking to me when Madison passed a budget last summer with over $5 billion in tax and fee increases while we in northern Wisconsin struggled with record high unemployment. Business as usual is not an option. Job creation, decreasing government spending, and every initiative to make Wisconsin an even better place to live and work has to be our top priority. If given the honor to serve as your representative, I look forward to bringing a healthy dose of northwoods common sense, hard work, and integrity to the state Capitol while reminding government who it is they work for--we the taxpayers!
